oh, what a beautiful morning!!!

What an amazingly perfect day after an amazingly perfect weekend! Shoot I wish all Mondays could go my way like this for the rest of my life. I started out with a great breakfast and a nice time in the morning with the few kids that were there. Then on my break I had the most fabulous morning. It was nice and warm and I decided to ride to downtown Schweinfurt. See, when I first got here, we were looking around the shops and I fell in love with a dress that was only 10 Euro. July is the sale month and therefore it would only be that price for a limited time. Now normally I am not a huge shopper and I only buy something if I really love it. I saw that dress three different times and every time it caught my eye but I never had time to try it on or even really get a good look at it. It has been the only thing I have really ever wanted since I got here and I thought it’d be a better buy since it was in a German store and not somewhere like H&M or Forever 21 that we have back home. So today I went down to go see if it was really worth it. The bike ride was really easy and even though I went down the wrong street, I found the town plaza really easily and without feeling lost or too out of place. Well the dress I liked so much was only 7 Euro and they had my size! It fit so well and was really cute! I was so happy and I even looked around a few more stores to just look around at what the stores had since I hadn’t gotten a good look before. I then also decided that since I had time, I would enjoy a real cup of coffee and a German pastries. I had this interesting pastry that was a ginger/hazelnut cake inside a biscut type crossiant and had chocolate dipped on the ends. It was pretty cool looking and my coffee was all fancy in a real mug since I ate it at the cafĂ©. It was sooooo tasty and I was just extremely happy enjoying it out in the square and just having a good relaxing morning to myself. Everything was so peaceful and there were so many people having breakfast out at the plaza. I looked at a few different bakeries just too see what different breakfasts and breads they have in Germany and I saw some really cool things (I was tempted to buy so many things but thankfully I didn’t). I was such a bright and sunny warm morning and I was just in the best mood because of my purchases. I then biked back to my room and had time for a crazy intense insanity workout. I am definitely out of shape and a good 30 minutes kicked my butt. Of course, I was just in such a great mood that when I left my room I realized my room key was inside my room after the door had already shut. Normally I would get so mad, but I wasn’t even worried at all because I knew Miranda would be home before and let me in anyways. Then I had the best bbq chicken, salad, fruit, and dinner roll ever for lunch! The chicken and the bbq sauce it was served with really made it fell like a perfect summer day. Honestly, nothing could get in my way today. I let the kids attitudes during large group activity roll right off my shoulder and I enjoyed every last bit of applesauce cake I had for snack as well as all the good fruit I ate. I had a nice relaxing afternoon in the playhouse and the kids were just great.
I also didn’t even mind my weird weight watchers ravioli I had for dinner… I couldn’t tell if it was a meat or cheese filling inside and it wasn’t even that good but I didn’t even care, today is just too good of a day. Now I just have to figure out how I am going to have fast enough internet to register for classes since the internet is down at the warrior zone and life will be perfect =)

  1. I think you are having much more fun, and opportunities to shop and do things than you would have in HK. Europe is THE place to be for you to see so many new and wonderful things!

    Love, DAD
